Job Description: The Cardioscience portfolio Continuous Quality Improvement Consultant reports to the Director of Cardiosciences and takes lead in quality improvement strategies. The position provides leadership, development and implementation support, and teaching for Cardiosciences, with a strong link to provincial direction as identified in Provincial Programs Tertiary care provincial goals. Key areas of responsibility include the support of selected standards within operational areas impacted by improvement activities, including supporting measures, methodologies and outcomes as identified in the provincial plan for Cardiosciences The position will support Cardiosciences portfolio and liaison with the partner role in Regina and Saskatoon and as such must demonstrate through personal commitment, support for the strategies, values, culture and beliefs of the health region and the strategic and operating plans of the functional or operational area. The incumbent must support innovation and contribute to a positive working climate which is client centric.

Experience

  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives
  • Experience in change management
  • 3-5 years' recognized experience in a complex health care environment
  • 3-5 years recent exp. in project management, quality improvement, facilitation

Education

  • Bachelor of Humanities and Social Sciences (BHum/BSHS)
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Health Sciences related studies

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Master's degree preferred
