Job Summary:
3sHealth is seeking an inspiring Continuous Improvement Specialist to support 3sHealth leaders as they work toward strategic and operational targets in partnership with employees, health system partners and patients and families. Reporting to the Director, Continuous Improvement, the Specialist is part of a strong, nimble team that guides improvement planning and implementation, performance measurement, and patient engagement.
Experience:
At least three years' health system experience, preferably in one or more of the following: improvement leadership, performance analysis, business analysis, strategic planning, patient and family centred care, project management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree/diploma in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field
• Certification as a Lean Leader through the Saskatchewan Health Care Management system, or willingness to obtain certification, is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to analyze complex situations and environments and produce workable and practical solutions
• Ability to translate strategic direction into operational plans in a complex, challenging and fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze data to measure performance, define problems, and set targets to inform project planning to outcomes reporting, and train others to do the same
• Proficiency with Excel
• Demonstrated effective change agent with exceptional people building skills
• Demonstrated excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
Other information:
Past involvement in improvement initiatives, either as a leader or support, is an important asset
