The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Analyst, Credit. This job is full-time permanent.

Reporting to the Director, you will play a key role in producing and analyzing the Credit Department's monthly and quarterly reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of the Credit Department, while supporting various projects and initiatives. You will act as a liaison between IT groups (architecture, design, delivery, quality assurance, project management) and the Credit Department, translating business needs into detailed stakeholder requirements and overseeing their execution through the project lifecycle.

  • Month-End/Quarter-End Analysis: Analyze results and explain variances for month-end and quarter-end reports.
  • Data Analysis: Interpret and analyze data to provide insights, identify trends, and support decision-making, while ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and analyze business opportunities to enhance processes using technologies like robotic automation and AI.
  • Data Issue Management: Manage and monitor data issues, perform impact assessments, and identify corrective actions.
  • Reporting and Process Validation: Collaborate with business partners (e.g., Cash App, Deduction, Customer Support, Sales, BU Controllers) to validate current processes/reporting and to improve upon them as required.
  • KPI Monitoring and Reporting: Support the development and monitoring of KPIs for Credit Department activities, analyze KPI data to assess effectiveness, and provide regular KPI reports and dashboards to senior management.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with internal teams such as IT, Cash App, Deduction, Customer Support, and Sales to ensure the success of the Credit Department.

  • Process Review & Improvement: Review end-to-end business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • KPI Reporting: Independently improve KPI tracking methodologies and enhance reporting processes for more accurate assessments of department performance.
  • Work Under Pressure: Ability to manage tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Customer Orientation: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in both spoken and written French and English.
  • SAP Knowledge: Working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO).
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel functions, Power BI, Visio, and SAP Business Warehouse (BW).
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think outside the box and address challenges creatively.
  • Teamwork: Embrace a team mindset by fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience working in coordination roles with IT and Finance teams.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Business Analyst.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Solid understanding of financial data and financial statements.
  • Proven experience in implementing business solutions that integrate AI technologies with enterprise systems.
