Job Description

We are:

A Cybersecurity practice that grows every day. All of our clients worldwide -- from governments to companies to nonprofits -- rely on technology. They look to us to protect them from hackers who want to steal data or disrupt operations. So, we don't sit back; we tackle the most critical security challenges head-on. We blend offence and defence. And we give our team of people the freedom to rethink the entire security lifecycle to win. Visit us here to find out more about Accenture Cybersecurity.

You are:

Ready to out-hack the hackers. You know security is a game of wits and you're ready to show your smarts even before a threat is flagged. You are the kind of person who takes direction but is also known for thinking on your feet and offering up your own solutions. And because the bad guys are constantly evolving their strategies, you're prepared to keep on learning new technologies and keep on adapting for yourself.

As part of our Summer Analyst Program, you'll have a 10-week experience that mirrors the learning, networking and social events our Security Analysts enjoy along with hands-on experience serving our clients.

The work:

  • Kick-start your summer in our Summer Analyst program to learn the latest security analyst skills

  • Join your teammates to dive into security projects

  • Roll up your sleeves and come up with good ideas to squash security risks

  • Let the client know if you spot any suspicious activity on their systems

  • Get a lot of experience working with the latest security technologies

  • Work with a mentor to gain more knowledge of security solutions

  • Share your thoughts - in a written report or during a presentation in front of a group - on ways to manage security risks

The work location for this role can include a mix of working remotely and working onsite with our clients and partners or in our offices and delivery centers to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

Please note that with all of our roles, you should expect some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

Qualifications

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in any major from a Canadian college or university with an anticipated graduation date (at the time of application) of December 2025 through August 2026
  • Must be fluently bilingual (English & French) for the Montreal location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some preferred majors include: Computer Science, Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Other Engineering disciplines, Information Systems / Decision Sciences, Mathematics / Statistics, Data Analytics / Data Science / Big Data
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic, solid technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, leadership, attention to detail and experience working on a team
  • Feel comfortable leading workshops, asking others for input and telling stories as a presentation style
  • Know you still have a lot to learn and are willing to be a lifelong learner

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

How to Apply:

You must submit a resume and transcript in order for your application to be considered for an interview. Application deadline is January 10, 2025 at 12:00PM EDT.
