The Senior Associate, Investments will increase the team's capacity and ability to advance Empire's growth into new and existing markets as well as new business streams. This role will bring the analytical bench strength and process management support to do so.

This role is located at our Empire Canada Head Office in Vaughan, ON.

What We Are Looking For:

• Post-secondary education in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics or related field

• 3+ years experience in Acquisitions, Finance or Investments - homebuilding preferred

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel formulas and functions

• Expertise in land and homebuilding analysis with a keen interest in markets exploration and acquisitions

Bonus If You Have These Skills:

• Experience with MS Office Suite and Platforms
• Experience with S&P Capital IQ and PowerBI

What You'll Be Doing Each Day

• Manages and responsible for the Divisional Analysis modeling tool, including performing analysis on perspective homebuilder acquisition opportunities, and enhancing/adapting the model to address business needs and requirements.
• Support due diligence processes through the management of detailing and tracking deliverables, and preparation and presentation of recommendation materials.
• Analyzes financial information and market data, generate reports and presentations to advise on the decision-making process of company investments.
• Provides support for strategizing and investigating new homebuilder acquisition/new market entry opportunities.
• Owns the evaluation and modeling of new business streams or opportunities across the Empire ecosystem.
• Recommends new functions/features and provides support with integration to SharePoint, Power BI and/or external cloud-based systems.
