Are you passionate about digital analytics and eager to make a meaningful impact? The Heart & Stroke Foundation is looking for a dynamic, full time permanent Digital Analytics Specialist to join our team! Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Marketing Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital analytics capabilities to drive net revenue growth, supporter loyalty, and engagement.
How you will make an impact every day
Drive Digital Analytics: Lead the delivery and development of digital and web analytics to support our fundraising and marketing programs.
Master GA4 and GTM: Manage the configuration of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and tagging across our web properties. You'll be responsible for setting up and managing GA4 properties and events, ensuring data accuracy and security through Google Tag Manager (GTM).
Enhance Data Security: Collaborate with IT to implement secure access management and privacy controls, ensuring our data is both accurate and protected.
Troubleshoot and Innovate: Help resolve tracking issues, develop user-friendly dashboards and reports, and contribute to building data fluency across the Foundation.
Collaborate and Optimize: Work closely with business units, IT, and external vendors to provide expert digital analytics support. Your insights will help optimize tracking strategies in our fast-paced environment.
Manage Partnerships: Oversee relationships with digital analytics partners, including workflow management, SOW coordination, and budgeting.
Who we need Education
University degree or certification in analytics, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent industry experience
Google Analytics Certification
Data Analytics, data science or Google Tag Management (GTM) certification would be an asset
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience working in Digital Analytics supporting digital marketing or e-commerce
Minimum 3 years' experience with Google Analytics, and at least one of those years with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Minimum 2 years' experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Experience developing reports and dashboards using front-end reporting tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau) and configuring back-end data sources
Skills
Advanced understanding of web analytics methodologies and tracking technologies
Familiarity with JavaScript and HTML
Experience working with GA4 data in BigQuery
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills including statistical probability, correlations, etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor communications to audience and translate complex ideas to layperson language
Exceptional planning, organizational and project management skills with acute attention to detail
Strong understanding of web analytics, tagging, and the digital tracking methodologies
Ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration and consultation as part of a team
Experience managing external relationships and good customer service skills
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to data integrity
