Looking for a new and exciting job opportunity? We are looking for a Senior Reporting Analyst to join our team!

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Manager, Procedures & Controls, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, administering, and supervising the activities associated with operations performance metrics and information management control systems within the S/E/C Department. You will design, develop and modify programs to facilitate accessibility of information, and ensure maximum utilization of data. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing statistical analyses, summaries, KPI's, charts, graphs, etc. as well as guidance to other employees regarding computerized systems and applications within the Department.

As a Senior Reporting Analyst, you will ensure information management control systems are developed and administered. You will design and implement key business metrics and subsequent reporting in a timely and effective manner to support and track operational decisions and impact. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of project control systems, cost evaluation methodologies and performance evaluation criteria in accordance with established corporate policies and guidelines. In addition, you will track, monitor and communicate performance against project plans, requirement measures, milestones and KPIs. You will perform a variety of studies and research assignments, requiring the analysis and interpretation of data. For assigned projects, you will provide project control support.

In this role, you will also be responsible for providing analysis, software design, coding and programming. You will prepare detailed flowcharts, code complex programs instructions and provide them in various languages. Additionally, you will develop, design, test, debug and implement new programs and/or modify existing programs, including preparing program specifications and micro/mainframe computer applications to meet current and future requirements.

You will be responsible for the compilation of statistical data to identify trends, patterns, etc. You will also prepare and provide statistical analyses, summaries, KPIs, charts, graphs, and associated reports. In addition, you will be required to make presentations regarding statistics, associated systems and procedures and provide guidance to other employees within the Department.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?

  • Your educational background will consist of the completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline (i.e., Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Management Information Systems or a Business-related field) or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
  • Your applications will demonstrate experiencer in business consulting, financial reporting and/or development of customized reporting systems
  • Your exposure in Asset Management and Reliability Centered Maintenance concepts will be beneficial to you in this role.
  • You will have knowledge of information management control systems, statistical analysis procedures, and programming principles and methods.
  • You will also have sound knowledge of computer applications, combined with thorough familiarity with procedures associated with computerized applications.
  • Additionally, you will have a solid mathematical background, with excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal & written communication skills
  • Your application will reveal your knowledge of business strategy/operations, business architecture, IT strategy and enterprise architecture
  • It will also demonstrate your strong technological background in the development of large scale application or technological solutions.
  • Your experience creating and presenting materials and translating IT solutions and terminology into business friendly terms will benefit business and executive audiences.
  • Your application will reveal your knowledge of project planning and management, including scope, time and resource management along with your experience collaborating with others in the development of strategies while influencing without authority.
