The Senior Marketing Manager, Patient Attrition & Value Add Services is a pivotal role in moving Dentalcorp's strategy forward, and an opportunity to effect massive capability and financial impact. This digitally oriented, customer/data-centric marketer will support the corporate mission by building and executing best-in-class integrated marketing campaigns and engagement curriculum. This role will collaborate with a team of highly effective marketing leaders to entrench new and existing patients into a consistent patient journey flow that optimizes cross-sell value add services (i.e. Invisalign, teeth whitening, etc), while also minimizing patient network attrition (retention within the network of practices).

As the patient marketing subject matter expert, the Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for setting the vision, planning the strategy, stewarding the investment and implementation of an effective turn-key/trigger-based communication strategy that will drive scalable impact across the network of practices, while also identifying opportunities to reduce network patient churn.

Operating from our Head Office location in Toronto, Ontario, this individual contributor role will work cross-functionally within the marketing organization, across the broader dentalcorp organization and externally with our respective marketing agencies and partners.

In this role, you will

  • Unify product (aligners, teeth whitening, implants etc.) placement and promotion across the patient journey, in collaboration with the network and performance marketing teams. This extends across patient re-care, email, paid and online channels, etc. while introducing a trigger-based/proven comms curriculum that maximizes patient LTV
  • Optimize value add service offerings (i.e. Invisalign, teeth whitening, etc.)
  • Work with third-party partners to optimize and integrate value across partner platforms
  • Drive patient network re-attachment through product marketing, contributing to a reduction in patient network churn
  • Leverage practice & patient insights to develop Network Marketing strategies & tactical plans
  • Manage new and existing partnership relationships to ensure maximum value extraction
  • Work closely with the Patient Acquisition, Practice Marketing and Data Analytics teams to prioritize initiatives, maximize return through site optimization, brand engagement and improving patient experience
  • Collaborate with creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel
  • Contribute to a high-performance team culture
  • Deliver on core marketing goals and KPIs within the allocated annual marketing budget, specific to maximizing patient LTV through product promotion and value-added services via partnerships
  • Proactively contribute to a collaborative and supportive partnership within the Marketing team and with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Corporate Development, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, etc.
  • Other duties as required in support of deepening the patient experience through efforts to reduce attrition and drive value

We are looking for

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience planning and executing customer engagement and monetization strategies through the adoption/implementation of marketing technology and data capabilities
  • Post-secondary education in Business/Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Retail, Telco, Financial, SaaS and/or health & wellness orientation (or similar digital direct to consumer experience)
  • Experience in brand strategy, brand building and communication strategy
  • Experience in digital and customer analytics an asset
  • Experience working with external partners to promote and leverage platforms to drive awareness of value added services
  • Strong project management skills and ability to complete projects on time
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to identify, prioritize and articulate highest impact initiatives (strong understanding of customer LTV)
  • Must be able to work independently and with a larger team, be a self-starter and a creative problem solver
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - must be able to articulate a clear vision, both verbally and in presentation format with senior management. Also, must be able to communicate complex information in writing through detailed project plans and business cases. Proven experience in persuading others through the use of strong logic and compelling data.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset
