The Senior Manager, Reporting & Process Design is a senior role within the Policy Adherence & Effectiveness (PAE) team of Global Risk Management (GRM).
The Senior Manager is responsible to provide the required analytic reportings and portfolio insights required to conduct the quality assurance process of the PAE team. The position requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of credit risk throughout the product lifecycle, lending products, policies, processes, and regulatory requirements for the retail and small business lending portfolios, as well as expert skills in data analytics, analysis and reporting. A strong technical knowledge of SAS, SQL, DbVisualizer, data repositories (for retail & small business portfolios in Canada, Caribbean & Central America (C&CA)), and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel is required. The position also requires an understanding of the various adjudication and document retention platforms used in Canada & C&CA in order to fulfill the position responsibilities.
The Senior Manager leads a team of Manager Analytics to support the various tasks associated to the position.
The position is expected to provide ongoing support to the PAE Director and two Senior Managers with new processes, projects, analytics, reporting and initiatives that will improve reviews, reporting to stakeholders and other areas integral to the effectiveness of the team. The role will help the various changes by participating in the design, creation, implementation and ongoing maintenance, and sometimes leading the changes.
In fulfilling the role, the Senior Manager will interact closely with GRM, the various business lines in Canada and C&CA, technical development teams, data analytics teams, systems, operations, Audit, Bank regulators, and any other stakeholders as deemed necessary for accurate and meaningful reporting.
The position also supports PAE management in process improvement, including the identification, project management, implementation and change management of initiatives which will improve the review and reporting provided to all stakeholders. This could include investigation/implementation of technology enhancements, automation process and artificial intelligence impact.

In order to successfully fulfill the position requirements, experience and knowledge of complex multi-dimensional computer design, programming, testing, problem solving and data analysis experience in order to work cross functionally within an environment of multiple data repositories, multi-systems, multi-architectures, and multi-business lines.
