What will your typical day look like?

  • Working with a small dynamic team to ensure the DTC (Deloitte Technology - Canada) organization has a clear view on project management framework.
  • Developing, maintaining and implementation of project management standards, processes and best practices.
  • Gathering and analyzing projects data to monitor project compliance and identify non-compliance areas.
  • Liaising with project managers and providing suggestions or solutions to non-compliance and off-track check points when needed.
  • Analyzing and producing metrics and reporting on project costing; project governance & compliance and project health and overall performance.
  • Supporting project managers in tracking their project budget and providing cost control related metrics and reports.
  • Overseeing projects' RAID logs to ensure defined processes of Risk/Issue and Change Request are followed and proper communication to the relevant stakeholders have been established.
  • Documenting and reporting on all project compliance with TOM and PMO requirements.
  • Facilitating discussions with senior IT leaders on regular project status and health.
  • Administration of "Projects" module of ServiceNow and maintaining Power BI Project Management data models.
  • Be backup supporter for the resource management function of PMO in effective management and utilization of enterprise resources.

About the team

The Project Management Office (PMO) within the DTC requires a Senior Consultant to work closely with the Team leaders across DTC organization. The PMO group provides leadership and guidance around the execution of projects and resource management capabilities. This group is focused on helping IT drive value through the successful execution of projects focusing on quality and service delivery excellence, ensuring that Deloitte standards are upheld. The PMO also ensures that the appropriate resourcing is available to not only support the implementation of these projects, but daily operations.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a PMO
  • Minimum of 3 years of reporting experience.
  • Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of project management and governance principles and frameworks.
  • Demonstrates solid analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.
  • Experience of working with Power BI queries, Semantic Layer definition and Visualization.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow's ITBM product would be an asset.

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
