We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

Job Description

The business analyst (BA)'s responsibilities will include understanding the counterparty credit exposure measurement for various products, mapping source data to internal monitoring reporting, e.g. Counterparty concentration Report; external regulatory reporting i.e. Large Exposure Frame (LEF) and Single Counterparty Credit Limit (SCCL); and supporting production related items.

Primarily, the BA will create mapping logic for counterparty credit exposure reporting or create requirement document and liaise with IT developers to communicate those requirements; and plan/coordinate all user testing, coordinate implementation/migration as necessary and communicate (written and verbally) to project leadership team and or senior management on project status throughout the project lifecycle.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Undergraduate degree or higher, preferable in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Finance.
  • Experience in systems implementation, process improvements or systems re-engineering projects with a banking organization or consulting company.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and ability for data analysis
  • Good problem solving skills in order to perform independent root cause analysis of data issues
  • Ability to take initiative, result oriented and work independently with multiple priorities.
  • Work with tools and platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL and be willing to learn adhoc

Nice-to-have

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations
  • Data Science, Data Analytics or Data Reporting experience
  • Experience with Big Data or Database technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Pyspark)
