As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Manager, Enterprise Applications you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of business analysts and IT professionals.

About the job

You'll act with integrity to:
• Support the launch of information technology initiatives based on business requirements
• Conduct research, assess market alternatives and perform systems testing, analyzing business processes and data, recommending changes, conducting process re-engineering and mapping new processes
• Participate in problem resolution and quality assurance activities, validating the accuracy and integrity of changes to data, systems and year-end processes on behalf of developers and project teams
• Proactively identify and recommend system improvements and process optimizations or automations
• Plan, gather, document, validate and test business requirements
• Identify and create training materials and documentation including conducting sessions and workshops, as required

You'll support our collaboration as you:
• Work with stakeholders to monitor the status of projects and provide technical support and leadership in the event of incidents.
• Work closely with project managers, key stakeholders and technology staff to communicate system updates, issues and process changes.
• Participate in project teams and committees, providing research, consultative support and fact-finding services.
• Regularly report on best practices in enterprise technology, contributing to the development of the Assembly's standards and processes.

What you bring to the team

You demonstrate excellence through your:

• University degree or equivalent in accounting, computer science, business administration, information technology or related field
• 5+ years of progressive work experience supporting common enterprise financial systems
• Experience with requirements gathering for financial processes; evaluating technologies and alternatives, documenting processes including incident management,; implementing financial systems (e.g. expense management system)
• Familiarity with Microsoft platforms (e.g. CRM Dynamics 365, Business Central, Azure, etc.)
• Demonstrated project management skills including related tools and practices
• Experience troubleshooting and testing systems, tracking and resolving issues and defects while supporting end users through a ticket support system; testing of hotfixes/releases prior to deployment into production
• Strong communication skills when presenting to clients and colleagues on both technical and non-technical subjects and acting as a liaison between clients and ERP consultants
• Application of superior analytical skills, to identify root causes and resolve problems
