What you'll do

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst, eCommerce, to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Business Analyst, eCommerce, you will play a critical role in supporting our eCommerce department by leading data migration to the iHub platform, building advanced PowerBI dashboards for cross-functional teams, and taking the lead in data stewardship and data quality monitoring. Your expertise in data mapping, metadata management, and driving actionable insights will be essential for achieving departmental goals.

  • Lead the data migration process to the iHub platform, ensuring smooth and efficient transfer of data from existing systems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and build advanced PowerBI dashboards that provide actionable insights for decision making

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all East eCommerce data-related matters, ensuring data quality and integrity

  • Develop and implement data stewardship processes to ensure accurate and consistent data across all systems

  • Perform regular quality monitoring of the eCommerce data, identifying and resolving any anomalies or discrepancies through our robust incident management flow

  • Manage data mapping metadata, ensuring accurate documentation and version control

  • Proactively analyze eCommerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business

  • Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in eCommerce analytics, bringing innovative ideas and technologies to enhance our data analysis capabilities

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Statistics

  • Proficiency in using the Azure Synapse, Hadoop, and or Snowflake, is highly desirable

  • Advanced skills in PowerBI or similar data visualization tools to develop intuitive dashboards that support decision-making processes

  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality assessment, metadata management, and master data management

  • Solid experience in SQL querying and database management

  • Excellent analytical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
