Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Market Insights Analyst to design and deliver data-driven analysis that provide insights to support the development and evaluation of business strategies and achievement of business aims.
Reporting to the VP, Sales & Customer Office, you will utilize your expertise to help guide decision-making and identify opportunities.

• Develop and analyze data and information in the respective fields.
• Resolve research-related technical issues within function or unit.
• Provide technical expertise in defining, collecting/extracting, and synthesizing market and customer data to assist in decision-making and opportunity identification.
• Run and manage select projects to support business decision-making.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
• Share and consolidate knowledge from primary and secondary analysis.
• Translate data into narrative-driven actionable insights.
• Provide analysis and synthesis of data and knowledge through regular cadence and ad-hoc dashboards or presentations.
• Prepare presentations of results and recommendations.
• Present research output convincingly to peers and mid-management levels.
• Ensure cost-efficient management of insight projects and initiatives.
• Manage external agencies or other party market research vendors and provide support in effectively utilizing data and analysis.
• Apply governance processes and ensure consistency of data, analysis, and methodology.
• Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of experience in Business, Commerce o area
AND
• Experience with data/analytics methods and techniques, both quantitative and qualitative
• Experience data, tools, techniques, platforms and applications (ex. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.)
• Experience with database/CRM resources, data, tools, techniques, and applications
Preferred:
• Strong conceptual and analytical orientation; intellectual curiosity and unstructured problem-solving skills
• Undergraduate or post-graduate experience in Data, Analytics or Mathematics is an asset
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
