We provide Canadian dentists and dental practices with an array of non-clinical support and resources, including accounting, HR, marketing, as well as supply & equipment procurement.

Who You'll Work With: You will join our Finance team located Downtown Toronto, working directly with senior leaders, operational directors, and cross-functional teams. Your insights will directly inform strategic business decisions and shape high-impact projects across the organization.

What You'll Do: As a Manager of Strategic Analytics, you'll lead the way in transforming data into actionable insights, informing strategy, and driving performance. You will manage projects that help leaders understand opportunities, assess risks, and optimize results.

Specifically, you will:

• Develop clear, concise analytics dashboards (Power BI) to track key business metrics.
• Measure financial metrics and leverage benchmarks such as budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Align financial analytics with operational KPIs, ensuring an integration of data insights into strategic initiatives and performance management frameworks.
• Create compelling, easy-to-understand data-driven presentations for senior executives.
• Conduct variance analyses, pinpointing the root causes behind operational performance gaps.
• Build/refine financial models and scenario analyses to help leaders evaluate strategic options.
• Streamline analytics and reporting, introducing effective automation and innovative solutions.
• Measure and communicate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, recommending actionable steps based on your analysis.
• Transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence, enabling leadership to make data-driven decisions that enhance growth, efficiency, and profitability.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on financial (and non-financial) KPIs, leveraging statistical models and data visualization to uncover trends, correlations, and key drivers of performance.
• Provide predictive/prescriptive analytics, identifying trends and informing strategic decisions.
• Proactively engage stakeholders to enhance organizational data literacy and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Science, applied statistics, mathematics, engineering or artificial intelligence or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in strategic analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or similar roles
• Deep technical experience with relationship databases, machine learning, and statistics
• Demonstrated leadership (thought leadership or people leadership e.g. managed project teams or direct reports)
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex analytical concepts to non-technical users
• Advanced programming expertise in languages such as: SQL, Python, or R.
• Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other similar data visualization tools. Power B.I experience is preferred
• Advanced skills in Excel and data modeling.
• A collaborative approach to problem-solving and strategic thinking, focused on results and continuous improvement
