POSITION SUMMARY

The IT & Donor Services Systems Analyst is responsible for providing on-site IT support to Foundation staff, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of online donation processing. This role manages the import of online gifts using ImportOmatic software, troubleshoots donation page issues, and configures ImportOmatic profiles to optimize data flow into financial and donor management systems. The position serves as a key liaison between the Business Intelligence & IT (BIIT) team and the Finance Team to ensure efficient and accurate gift processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

IT Support & Troubleshooting:

Provide day-to-day IT support to Foundation staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Act as the primary on-site IT contact, resolving technical problems and escalating within the BIIT team as needed.

Facilitate user access, permissions, and system configurations for finance and fundraising applications at the direction of the Director, BIIT

Assist in implementing system updates, patches, and software enhancements.

Facilitate training and support to staff on the use of financial and donor management systems.

Online Gift Processing & ImportOmatic Management:

Manage the import of all online donations from various sources (e.g., CanadaHelps, Luminate Online, Benevity) using ImportOmatic.

Ensure accuracy in data imports, resolving mapping and reconciliation errors.

Set up and maintain ImportOmatic profiles to optimize data flow into the Foundation's CRM and financial systems.

Work closely with the Finance Team to reconcile online gifts and ensure proper fund allocation.

Monitor failed transactions and troubleshoot issues to ensure successful processing of online gifts.

Help migrating from ImportOmatic to ImportOmatic cloud.

Financial & Data Reconciliation Support:

Assist the Finance Team with reconciling online donations with bank deposits and CRM records.

Troubleshoot discrepancies between online gift platforms and financial systems.

Ensure compliance with data security policies when handling financial and donor data.

4. Process Improvement & Compliance:

Identify and implement improvements in online gift processing workflows.

Ensure all online gift data complies with financial reporting standards and donor stewardship policies.

Document IT procedures related to online gift processing, ImportOmatic, and donor platform troubleshooting.

Collaborate with the BIIT and Finance teams to enhance system integrations and reporting capabilities.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field.

2+ years in IT support, database administration, or nonprofit technology operations.

Experience with ImportOmatic, Financial Edge, or donor CRM systems (Raiser's Edge) is an asset.

Proficiency in troubleshooting IT issues (hardware, software, networks).

Experience in data imports, mapping, and reconciliation is an asset

SQL knowledge and workflow automation experience is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Excellent communication and training skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with finance, fundraising, and BIIT teams.

Willingness and ability to continuously learn and apply new skills and systems.
