YOUR IMPACT:

Reporting to Sr. Director, Workplace Programs this is a key position within the Global Real Estate & Facilities organization at OpenText. The successful candidate will act as the team lead for workplace data & analytics, ensuring the effective collection, analysis and visualization of varied datasets to enable optimized business decisions across a global portfolio of over 100 office locations. Additionally, this individual will utilize project management skills and work closely with Global Facilities staff to implement global workplace programs that support an enhanced workplace experience. This position requires direct communication and interfacing with various OpenText departments as well as third party vendors.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

  • Develop, implement and oversee a workplace analytics data strategy to support the objectives of the Global Real Estate & Facilities organization.
      • Continually measure the effectiveness of reporting and analytics outputs and make necessary improvements to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Implement best practice data methodology, utilizing new and existing systems to collect, analyze and visualize complex data sets to identify trends, insights and opportunities for the business.
      • Ensure compliance with data-related regulations including data privacy and protection.
      • Demonstrate the ability to present findings to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
      • Educate the wider team on data strategy to ensure workplace programs are data driven.
  • Review and implementation of AI data modelling systems to streamline data collection & analysis.
  • Regular and timely updating of office utilization and vacancy reporting, ensuring accuracy and reflecting any new activity within the real estate portfolio.
      • Partner with HR, IT, Security and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and to facilitate data migration, transformation and cleansing where necessary to maintain data integrity.
      • Maintain accurate and current Real Estate portfolio data within our IWMS program and support reporting requirements as necessary.
  • Utilize Project Management skills to develop and implement Facilities workplace programs to support an enhanced workplace experience.
      • Collaborate with external consultants and internal stakeholders to develop and execute relevant employee survey and other feedback channels to determine program success.
      • Support Facilities communication strategy, internal messaging and program awareness campaigns.
  • Accountable for building intranet Facilities location pages, verifying accuracy and monitoring for continuous improvement
  • Responsible for maintaining P&L and Capital expense budgets, setting up new vendors, initiating purchase order requisitions, managing P-Card accruals and invoice tracking for various Workplace Programs

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Advanced level knowledge of the following applications is required:
    • Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI
    • Centerstone/Manhattan (IWMS) or other Space Management Software
    • AutoCAD
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Real Estate or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience of data collection, analysis and visualization techniques.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data, complete analysis and provide recommendations from the data.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, data structures, data flows and data integrity principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment and integrity.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving and research skills.
  • Experience in effectively working independently for a remote team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with working in a global environment and working with diverse cultures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build internal relationships.
