Job Summary

Responsible for providing sales and profitability analysis to assist Sales Directors and assigned Sales Representatives with strategies and decision-making. Implement processes to ensure that the business decision making activities and performance improvement initiatives with respect to the Domestic business are in place. Analyse performance within territories. Establish relationships and act as a business partner with the sales force. Manages all aspects from accruals to settlements to customer reconciliations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the monthly and quarterly financial analysis for the regional segment, identifying areas requiring attention through management reports. Recommends remedial action to sales leads in terms of top and bottom-line performance and serves as an expert resource in their region.
  2. Provide overall analysis of assigned territories by retrieving key monthly sales data reports to assist Management, Sales Directors and Sales Representatives. Provide strategic business support in line with objectives. Reports originate from various third-party sources and SAP programs, including IMS, data cubes and SAP - and range in scope from entire territory down to customer level and molecule level.
  3. Manage all customer agreements in SAP with respect to creation, maintenance and closures.
  4. Supports on-going contract negotiation activities with all stakeholders - e.g. chains, government, hospitals, insurers, PBM's etc. and ensures that any changes are reflected in the Territory targets.
  5. Maintain accurate accruals in customer agreements through monthly reconciliations and on-going monitoring.
  6. Reconcile regional key accounts as assigned on a monthly and quarterly basis for business review purposes. Liaise with Sales Representatives on a regular basis to review customer programs and business structure.
  7. Develop and maintain a tracking system and margin analysis with respect to all bonus and other payments provided to assigned territory.
  8. Initiate ongoing communication with assigned Sales Representatives to ensure they have appropriate support and updated reports are available to them.
  9. Identifies and develops initiatives to support department business needs, increase automation and improve productivity
  10. Responsible for the full cycle of customer payments- analysis, processing, customer feedback, dispute resolution and financial impacts and ensure that all documentation is prepared for auditors.
  11. In collaboration with Sales Planning, prepare monthly profitability reports summarizing sales activities of the region, territories and Key Regional accounts. Monitors sales performance against plan, investigate and explain variances.
  12. Support process improvement initiatives to reporting and tools used in role and recommend process improvements where needed.
  13. Respond to all Sales Representative and Sales Management inquiries efficiently and in a timely manner and communicate with co-workers on all relevant matters.
  14. Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.

  16. Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or similar.

  • Action-oriented, self-starter, and has ability to work well during peak pressure periods
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Power Point and working knowledge of Qlik
  • Knowledge of data integration and cross-referencing.
  • Must possess strong business ethics for handling confidential information and the ability to make independent judgement decisions
  • Knowledge of SAP and IMS data an asset
  • Minimum of 2-3 years data analysis experience
  • Knowledge of accounting practices
