What is the opportunity?

As the Program Manager, you will lead the direction, management, and execution of the data team's programs by centralizing program management functions within the broader data team, which includes data engineering, data analytics, data science, and data governance. You will manage complex, cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment between program goals and the execution of data initiatives. The goal is to drive efficiency, deliver impactful data-driven solutions, and support the organization's strategic objectives.

What will you do?

  • Drive alignment of all programs with organizational goals and the data product vision. Manage and oversee large-scale, cross-functional program initiatives that ensure the successful execution of data-driven solutions.
  • Establish and maintain program management frameworks. Provide clear program roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables, focusing on driving initiatives that advance analytics capabilities and impact business performance.
  • Oversee the transformation of reporting processes to ensure the reusability of data products, enabling efficient access and utilization of data across the organization.
  • Assess the business value of data programs and prioritize projects based on their potential impact and alignment with strategic objectives. Ensure that the most critical programs are addressed first to maximize return on investment and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear and actionable business requirements for data programs. Ensure that these requirements are aligned with broader organizational goals and enable effective program delivery.
  • Enhance data literacy among business stakeholders, empowering them to make informed decisions based on data insights and analytics. Ensure that data insights align with program objectives.

Here's what we need from you:

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 years of program management experience. Proven experience leading vision transitions and managing complex data programs. PMP and/or PgMP certification.
  • In-depth understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and components, including algorithms and model development, and their application in program and product management to drive data-driven insights and solutions that enhance product features and business outcomes.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, including Snowflake, and their role in enhancing data capabilities.
  • Understanding of data governance principles to ensure compliance and secure data practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to align product and program goals with broader business strategies. Strong leadership and communication skills to mentor teams and engage stakeholders effectively.

Nice to Have:

  • MBA Preferred. Relevant certifications in Agile, cloud technologies, advanced analytics, or machine learning.
  • Strong understanding of advanced analytics and their application in business contexts.
  • Ability to enhance data literacy among stakeholders and facilitate informed decision-making.
