Your Role
As the National Process Excellence Manager, you will support cross-functional teams (SEA, AIR, ROAD and FINANCE) in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives. These efforts aim to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate overall operational performance across various departments. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining a comprehensive process mapping system, utilizing methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to address inefficiencies, designing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), mentoring personnel, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. This role will not have any direct reports. You will report to the National Finance IS Manager and your contributions will positively impact productivity, financial/process efficiency and quality.
Your Responsibilities
Performance/Cost Targets: All improvement efforts should meet the expected targets - tangible(costs) or intangible(time savings, productivity, compliance)
Teach Yellow Belt and Green Belt Certification Course: Deliver certification training sessions across business units in collaboration with your Master Black Belt.
Conduct Awareness Workshops: Host CI awareness workshops across business units to attract participation in the CI program.
Belt Project Mentoring: Coach multiple Yellow Belt Candidates simultaneously, encouraging them to complete their certification.
Increase Belt Population: Drive growth in the Yellow Belt population.
Develop Course Content: Assist your Master Black Belt in developing course content for Yellow Belt and Green Belt programs.
Lead Process Improvement Projects: Identify improvement opportunities within business units, facilitate implementation, and manage change. Utilize digital process analytics tools to analyze outcomes and create improvement opportunities.
Generate Tangible and Intangible Results: Ensure that improvement efforts yield measurable benefits, whether in terms of cost savings or intangible gains such as time efficiency and productivity.
CI Program Deployment: Collaborate with deployment champions from each business unit to implement the continuous improvement framework.
Stakeholder Management: Establish strong partnerships with business units to foster successful continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Skills and Experiences
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field is required
Certification in Lean Six Sigma
Black Belt methodology is required
8+ years of experience in process improvement or a related field
5+ years of
experience in freight forwarding, insurance or banking industry
3+ years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar project management certification is a plus
