Job Summary

This position will work closely with the Corporate Reporting Manager, FP&A Team, and Corporate Reporting team in reporting financial results.

Duties:

  • Consolidate weekly forecasts and comments from FP&A Team
  • Review and follow up on any outstanding variances
  • Consolidate monthly prelim forecast
  • Reconcile all reports
  • Work closely with Accounting & FP&A Team to provide all necessary information for monthly reporting to Compass Group US. Specific reporting includes but not limited to:
    • New and lost business analysis
    • Like for like analysis and drivers
    • Cause of change reports
    • Travel Detail & OT/Temp Reports
    • Emerging/New Subsectors
  • Work with Corporate Reporting & FP&A Team to gather all necessary information for annual budget reporting. Reporting includes but not limited to:
  • Capital Detail & Summary
  • Assist in consolidation and reporting for mid-year forecasts & annual budgets from FP&A team
  • Assist with preparation monthly financial reports (Sector Pack & ExCom) & presentations

Required Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education: Business, Accounting or Finance Degree or Diploma working towards a CPA designation preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and intermediate level functionalities (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
