Profile

The Customer and Product Marketing Analyst conducts B2B marketing activities to support existing sales campaigns by promoting DHC products and services; and uncover new market opportunity that propels DHC's sales growth strategies. Conduct data analytics to support complex campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Sales team and collaborate with other functional teams to advance sales campaigns
  • Develop new business opportunities to support Sales growth strategies
  • Analyze customer requirements and applicability of DHC products and services
  • Market demand analysis - aircraft seating capacity, utilization, and fleet size
  • Aircraft operational performance - optimization of DHC aircraft capability to provide maximum payload with most efficient fuel consumption
  • Economic analysis - acquisition and cash operating cost, cash flow analysis
  • Business case - Value benefits, ROI analysis
  • Convert all analyses into convincing presentation and deliver it in a succinct way to internal and external customers
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of DHC products and services
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of Twin Otter, Dash 8 and DHC-515
  • De Havilland Component Solutions (DCS) offerings
  • New P&O offerings, e.g. Quick Change, alternative LOPA configurations
  • Manage ad-hoc marketing projects, e.g. acquisition and administration of a new tools

Relationships

  • Reports to: Director, Customer and Product Marketing
  • Internal interactions: Front-line Sales & Marketing teams; Engineering; Programs; Aftermarket, Contracts and Supply Chain
  • External interactions: Customers; Appraisers; Financiers and Industry SME's

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, brand management, or sales
  • 4+ years of working in the Aerospace industry

Skills

  • Good understanding of the practical requirements from customers
  • Commercial acumen and financial literacy with an ability to develop and interpret financial models
  • Technical knowledge in the areas of aircraft design, aerodynamics, structural or mechanical systems.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Influence without authority with a collaborative approach across all functions to get job done to satisfaction
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate in ambiguous situations
  • Outstanding Interpersonal skills and customer relationship management
  • Ability to strike the right balance between quality and quantity
  • Creative and bold thinker who is willing to test the boundaries and challenge the status quo
  • Accustomed to a fast-paced work environment and able to adapt to customer needs
