We as Global Digital Services enable BASF's digitalization and adoption of artificial intelligence. In agile teams, we develop innovative solutions for BASF and its customers, create new exciting customer experiences and business growth, and drive efficiencies in processes. We provide IT that works and offer know-how and access to latest technologies.


We are currently seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory.


As Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in participating in our Product and Platform teams, working alongside Product & Platform owners to drive success. If you have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset and passionate driving business value through technology solutions and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

As a Business Analyst, you create chemistry by...

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders as you identify, gather, analyze, and document user requirements from them.
  • Effectively communicating and translating these requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria for the Product Team, while also supporting backlog management and the translation into technical specifications.
  • Aligning user stories with expected product values and aligning use cases and personas with captured requirements.
  • Effectively communicating product scope and progress to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Understand data requirements, navigate enterprise data landscape, facilitate cross-functional collaboration to meet data needs.
  • Developing reports and presentations that effectively communicate insights to key stakeholders.
  • Being responsible for creating communication materials, assisting with UAT testing plans/scripts, and analyzing product progress and KPIs to provide regular updates.

If you have...

  • A Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science or further education in IT / Digitalization.
  • Work experience within software development/ implementation teams and jobs.
  • Project experience.
  • Strong internal or external Stakeholder Management experience along with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience in agriculture is a plus.
