What you'll do
Maintain and manage positive and productive vendor relationships with all defined Equipment Vendors.
Maintain current visibility to all vendor equipment offerings, along with applicable costing, features and benefits.
Develop, update and maintain a current 'Recommended Equipment' list for all Canadian Tire Automotive Service Centers that ensures stores can effectively support all 'Top Jobs'.
Consult with Dealers to ensure they have visibility to the latest available equipment and provide them with store-specific equipment options and recommendations based on criteria including expected performance gains, potential productivity improvements and expected return on investment.
Support Dealers with their equipment needs by managing inquiries from stores, placing orders on their behalf and overseeing shipments and billing.
Develop, update and maintain impactful resources and tools to properly maintain Dealers equipment and maximize value from each piece (i.e. equipment maintenance schedules, evaluation forms, equipment knowledge guides and planning checklists)
Provide Dealers with access to necessary training they require to properly operate the equipment they purchase including safety requirements
Analyze new business opportunities for the service department and communicate those opportunities to the Dealer network
Create clear and impactful presentations and resources to drive store engagement around auto service opportunities
Produce and maintain reporting to monitor equipment status of all Automotive Service Centers to help support the overall brand
Work with Automotive Category Managers to ensure that the required equipment and training is available to stores to properly support their businesses.
What you bring
College Diploma or University Degree preferred
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with Dealers, vendors and colleagues
Excellent visual storytelling skills with the ability to create clear and compelling narratives leveraging presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
Attention to detail with the ability to understand complex information and simplify it for broader audiences.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both formal and informal settings
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment of change and comfortable with making recommendations and decisions
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time
Ability to work effectively in a highly self-directed manner and with cross functional teams
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel) is an asset.
Bilingual (French) is an asset
