Strategy and Reporting Analyst

The Reporting and Analytics team is seeking a Strategy and Reporting Analyst who thrives in diving into large datasets and enabling data-driven business decisions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Reporting and Analytics, the successful candidate will play a key role in the territory deployment strategy of the Neighbourhood Marketing Channel (NMC). The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sales strategy and leadership as well as data analytics, including technical skills in SQL, Power BI (or Tableau or MicroStrategy), Alteryx and a keen interest in predictive analytics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the execution of a territory deployment strategy with input to optimizations
• Manage data transformation to provide campaign leads through CRM tools
• Effectively manage results and performance analysis for NMC and production of reports on sales channel performance for different stakeholders
• Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and initiatives to drive sales channel activities and growth
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and build working relationships with multi-disciplinary groups, such as Business Intelligence, Marketing, Field and Customer Services teams
• Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights from data to stakeholders
• Build predictive models that enable smart business decisions and drive improvements in sales performance, customer retention and overall revenue generation

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 2-5 years' experience in a sales analytics role, preferably from a telecom background
• Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills with a creative approach to developing solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools. Prior experience in Alteryx/Python/R is an asset
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
• Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• A keen interest in advanced analytics with an aptitude for continuous learning
• University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or Mathematics
