Day in the life:

As a Credit Team Lead you will handle multi-division accounts and also be in charge of leading a team of Credit Service Coordinators. You will report into the Corporate Credit Manager and assist your team in ensuring all processes and deadlines are being met.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for coaching and performance management of your team; you will work in a cross functional manner through continuous interaction with multiple departments. Customer service and team collaboration is a key component for this role. You will also be responsible for answering any customer queries and deal with any escalations and or complaints.

You will oversee the team's performance along with helping them problem solve their issues. There will also be an administrative aspect to the role that includes maintaining credit hold lists, AR collections, approving any credit limit increases / decreases, account monitoring and 3rd party recommendations for collections, litigations, construction lien and labour & material bond claims.

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience leading a team in construction or manufacturing
  • Experience with Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) software.
  • Direct experience in assessing credit risk.
  • Strong analytical ability to reconcile accounts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Power BI
  • CCP designation or two years enrolled in CCP program considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
