As a pivotal member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the products within your portfolio on a global scale. This entails curating a dynamic pipeline of new product launches to cater to future market demands, and skillfully managing the performance of existing products across various markets through strategic marketing, competitive positioning, pricing, and forecasting strategies.

Your role will be instrumental in driving revenue and margin growth for the assigned product lines through meticulous development and execution of product plans. Knowledge and familiarity with computer hardware products is essential to the success of this role.

Please note, this is a hybrid opportunity (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from office and Monday/Friday from home).

What you will be responsible for:

  • Growing your product portfolio profitably through a successful mix of competitive positioning, information, new products, customer awareness, cost management, inventory management, forecast inputs, and pricing.
  • Developing the Product Roadmap to ensure that new product pipeline will succeed in meeting growth targets, company strategy, and future market needs.
  • Managing the full product life cycle for all products in your portfolio.
  • Capturing new product ideas and creating business cases to support new ideas in collaboration with other internal stakeholders.
  • Working with product development, product information and vendor management teams throughout the development process to ensure new products meet defined market requirements.
  • As the Product Champion, overseeing all deliverables related to the product (Information, packaging, marketing, forecast, pricing, etc.).
  • Being the market Subject Matter Expert in your product portfolio for existing and new trends, technologies, competitors, and applications.
  • Representing StarTech.com at trade shows and customers visits related to your product portfolios as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Product Management experience in the computer hardware Industry.
  • Deep understanding and interest in IT technology trends, as well as strong business acumen and overall understanding of the global marketplace.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel is required (v-lookups, pivot tables) as well as familiarity with PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Experience with managing projects involving cross-functional teams.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to different functional areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
