Senior Customer Replenishment Analyst

Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Customer Replenishment Analyst will drive Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment throughout the end-to-end supply chain. You will use an in depth understanding of product replenishment processes to maintain product availability at the distribution centers and stores to maximize sales opportunities for the customer. In this role, you will ensure forecast accuracy versus sales to drive correct order quantities and analyze business metrics to identify root cause issues and solutions to improve performance for one or more departments or areas. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the customer's replenishment team and facilitate communication between the customer and our company.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of customer data, including forecast, point of sale, and store inventory data, using data and technology systems such as Retail Link, Power BI, and SAP to extract actionable insights and identify opportunities for business improvement.
• Use direct influence to drive improved order forecast accuracy and case fill through complex analysis of retailer data such as point of sale consumption and inventory versus customer forecast.
• Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships across the customer's supply chain, as well as with sales, demand planning, supply planning and customer supply chain teams.
• Strategize on replenishment through current and historical trend analysis to maximize sales, inventory turns and gross margin for the next annual period.
• Resolve complex and varied product shortages and procedural issues and communicate with key stakeholders about decisions and information related to product disruptions in the supply chain to prevent out of stocks.
• Communicate effectively through written and verbal channels, clearly articulating complex information and insights to diverse audiences, including team members, stakeholders, and clients. Present data-driven recommendations and strategies in an engaging and persuasive manner.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and update or modify working methods using creativity and latitude.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate or Bachelor in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience.
• Experience with email, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, reporting systems and other data analysis tools.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with customer databases, order management systems and retail point of sale systems. Hands-on experience with Retail Link platform and data analysis a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex data sets.
• Experience with CPFR processes and methodologies.
• Experience preparing ad hoc reports regarding sales, inventory and forecasting.
• Experience with key performance indicators like in-stock, fill rate, on time in full and order accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
