WE'RE LOOKING FOR A REGIONAL MARKETING MANAGER

Location: Fort Erie, ON

Reporting to the Head of Marketing - North America, the Regional Marketing Manager will capture, create, and promote Airbus Helicopters products and services to develop a sales campaign and overall marketing objectives. This role will require experience and analytical perspective to provide product & technical mission analysis, marketing collateral, competitive intelligence gathering, and industry insight to all internal & external stakeholders. The Regional Marketing Manager will have high visibility of many business functions which provides an opportunity to learn the industry and expand marketing knowledge, while transversally managing projects & tasks.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Marketing

  • Deliver Airbus Helicopters promotion and sales support solutions for campaigns in the region in collaboration with a network of regional and international teams within the Helicopters division

  • Focal point for harnessing sales and marketing material with consistent and accurate technical, mission related and performance related information used for progressing on opportunities and overall market development

  • Create marketing and sales support value for achieving and exceeding business related objectives and KPIs

  • Development of regional plans and roadmaps including but not limited to Marketing Plan, Regional Road Maps and driving actions to support campaigns for Civil, Parapublic and Military.

  • Capture and provide marketing inputs (e.g.: customer needs, competition benchmark, market trends, workshops) for product development and future product definition (including the 4Ps: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion)

  • Be the voice of the market and marketing focal point for assigned territories and segments by advocating internally and externally for the customer's needs which includes technical improvements, pricing decisions, and product improvements.

Product and Services Promotion

  • Plan, create and drive active promotion of products and services across Civil, Parapublic and Military segments including supporting the sales team members in customer briefings and exchanges

  • Build and continually update product and services technical presentations, analysis and key messages as well as innovate new marketing tools and collaterals

  • Active sales promoter for all marketing activations, analyzing impact and suggesting improvements for different segments/regions

  • Ensure coordination with the Sales and Programs teams regionally and internationally to leverage existing capabilities

Market Research and Competitive Intelligence

  • Report on market and major events occurring within region (state of the market, insights, trends)

  • Conduct competitive analysis on key campaign activities, pricing policy, product developments, analytics, and services

  • Provide marketing knowledge base on how our customers operate and impacts to our market including evolving mission trends within Civil, Parapublic and Military market

  • Provide thoughtful and timely input for market evolutions highlighting any needs for further development

Customer and Mission Segments Insights

  • Develop a thorough understanding of operators, their markets and their market trends

  • Define marketing strategies for operators to create more business opportunities

  • Provide market inputs and requirements to champion other areas of Marketing/Sales and other internal partners

  • Develop an understanding of AHNA as an industry, function, and divisions

Sales & Marketing Tools

  • Drive Salesforce usage with regional teams to ensure an updated view of sales funnel/opportunities

  • Advocate use of all digital marketing tools - apps/ databases/ marketing content/Spotfire/ performance apps

  • Drive marketing innovation by shaping and refreshing all marketing content

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Required: Degree in business, marketing, data sciences/engineering; or equivalent.

  • Preferred: MBA or Master's Degree in business/marketing, economics, or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 Years: Prior experience in marketing, preferably within the aviation sector. Experience in digital marketing, brand management, and campaign execution is important.

  • Regional Experience (considered an asset): Experience managing marketing operations across multiple regions or countries, understanding local market dynamics, cultural differences, and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Market Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating marketing materials, presentations, and reports.

  • Digital Marketing: Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and online advertising.

  • Networking: Strong networking skills to build relationships with industry stakeholders, partners, and customers.

  • Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to and understanding of cultural differences in various regions.

  • Budget Management: Ability to manage budgets and optimize marketing spend.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Competence in using data analytics and metrics to guide marketing decisions.

  • Salesforce

  • Cirrium/HeliValues/JetNet/JSSI

  • Basic Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
