Your Role on our Team: The Business System Analyst reports to the Business Systems Lead and is responsible for supporting project teams with requirements gathering, analysis, testing, and documentation.

The Business System Analyst proactively shares opportunities to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.

In this role, you will:

  • Defines and documents business requirements by conferring with internal clients to evaluate procedures and processes.
  • Provides estimates and timelines to meet the deliverables.
  • Participate in cross-functional team design discussions and solution recommendations.
  • Develop testing scripts and conduct and document testing as required.
  • Controls solution scope by establishing specifications; configures and coordinates change delivery within systems.
  • Works with developers to define the specifications for development changes.
  • Works with integration lead to determining the impact of integration and plans accordingly.
  • Understands and adheres to the access security model for all solutions.
  • Supports training activities as needed. Participates in developing and delivering training materials.
  • Proactively seeks ways to optimize technologies and services provided to users.
  • Maintains technical documentation on the solutions, their configuration, and processes related to their maintenance and operational management.
  • Provide second-level support on ERP business applications and other tools and escalate support issues as needed.
  • Understand technical design specifications and how to develop and document them.
  • Defines, conducts, and leads testing according to plan, validating results.
  • Identifies and documents system deficiencies and suggests solutions.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Responsible for maintaining and responding to clients' needs/issues by proactively working on Service Desk tickets and following IT's SLA policy.

We would like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business/system analysis or a related field.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and ITSM systems EasyVista and/or Service Now
  • Experience with Property Management is an asset.
  • Experience with ERP Systems, Yardi and/or Salesforce is required.
  • Experience with MS Power Platforms is required.
  • Experience with M365 and Teams
  • Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • SQL and database management skills.
  • Advanced technical skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience in creating detailed reports.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and experienced working with remote teams.
