Purpose of the Role
As an Associate Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving project execution, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to manage project scope, financials, and overall success while fostering a collaborative and engaging team environment.



Responsibilities - What you’ll do once you get the job (after you celebrate):

  • Project Coordination & Execution – Drive project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations.
  • Financial Tracking & Reporting – Track, document, and report on costs, revenue, profits, and margins. Assist in project accounting and forecasting budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management – Serve as the bridge between internal teams, clients, and senior leadership, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Work Scope Negotiation – Negotiate change requests by setting expectations collaboratively and ensuring mutual stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Risk & Change Management – Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while managing change requests to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Documentation & Reporting – Manage documentation across multiple projects, create project summaries, and provide detailed status reports, KPIs, and lessons learned.
  • Agile & Process Management – Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to enhance project execution and team efficiency.
  • Meeting Coordination – Schedule and facilitate project meetings, take notes, and ensure key actions are followed up on.
  • Quality Assurance – Facilitate a quality assurance process to verify output and adherence to business requirements.
  • Client Success & Satisfaction – Ensure clients are satisfied and see the value in the services provided.
  • Travel – Willingness and ability to travel internationally for client meetings and conferences when required.


Qualifications and Requirements - What you need to get the job:

  • Experience – 2+ years in project coordination or management. Previous Co-op experience is an asset.
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Methodologies – Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
  • Tools – Proficiency with project management software (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Financial Acumen – Basic understanding of invoicing and financial reporting.
  • Soft Skills – Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset – Self-driven, proactive, and capable of taking initiative without waiting for direction.
  • Consulting Experience – Understanding of what it means to be a consultant, balancing client needs with internal goals.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Power BI, or SharePoint is an asset.
  • Technical Knowledge (Bonus) – Understanding of the workings of a technical team and technical development processes.
  • Work Authorization – Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in Canada.
