The Fleetway, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team is creating the maintenance strategies and solutions for the next generation of Royal Canadian Navy Ships. We are respected in the industry through our proven hands-on experience in marine engineering environments. We are looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join the ILS department. Be part of the team creating the solutions the RCN needs now and, in the future, to operate and maintain the fleet.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the ILS Supervisor, the Business Analyst supports the New Build Organization by:

  • Consulting with leadership to understand the various initiatives being managed by the organization
  • Providing reporting and analytical support tasks to the Materiel Support Lead by meeting with functional area specialists
  • Developing, maintaining and distributing reports to functional leads and managers
  • Meeting delivery requirements to the Government of Canada and creating Initial Provisioning Conference packages
  • Developing forms and databases necessary to improve the collection and reporting of progress-related data (such as VBA+, SQL, MS Access, Tableau, Power BI and Azur Dev Ops)

Qualifications

  • Education Required: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Commerce.
  • Years of Experience Required: 5+ years
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite applications
