As a Retail Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and tactical plans. Kindly note this is a 15-month fixed term position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of a customer focused marketing strategy for the line of business in assigned markets through the execution of associated marketing plans

  • Recommend marketing programs to the Marketing Manager and business units that build awareness, drive customer demand, grow customer base, advance the organization's brand and differentiate the line of business in regional markets

  • Lead small to medium sized projects by collaborating with cross functional teams - from design through implementation and support - to execute the marketing strategy

  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to identify, define and produce ongoing marketing materials and promotions

  • Work with internal subject matter experts and external agency partners to coordinate and assist in the development of communication programs to support marketing initiatives

  • Work closely with the in-house Creative Services, Loyalty and Media teams to ensure smooth and accurate execution of promotions and programs

  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies and plans in coordination with regional leaders that will improve awareness of the brand to drive business in regional markets

  • Leverage marketing data and analytics to make recommendations on marketing campaigns and improve them while they are in market; track and evaluate ROI and other metrics as they relate to marketing initiatives

  • Help drive continuous improvement in the customer experience by identifying and bringing forward solutions to address areas of opportunity

  • Manage assigned budgets and complete variance analysis effectively

Your Skills:

  • Ability to adapt and work effectively within a matrix organization required

  • Ability to leverage data analytics and complete variance analysis

  • Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly

  • Work well and effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

Your Experience:

  • 3-5 years marketing and brand experience preferred

  • Post-secondary education required, preferably BBA with a marketing major
