As a Business Analyst you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on continuously improving the HR function through technology and process improvements. You will enable change within JDI by expertly defining customer needs, determining the best solutions and delivering value to stakeholders.
This role combines an opportunity to leverage technical proficiency and HR knowledge; you will have the opportunity to support the development, implementation, and improvement of HR systems to increase the overall value and experience for our users. In addition, you will be accountable to manage priorities and projects for the HRIS team as Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Lead / support implementation of HR Initiatives (solutions, processes, and tools)
- Support JDI HR to achieve their business goals by leveraging technology
- Coordinate work of the HRIS team; set priorities by balancing delivery of business goals, problems / issues and incoming requests from stakeholders on a day-to-day basis
- Gather and document business and detailed functional technical requirements, user stories and test cases
- Understand key business data and data quality
- Document current and future state processes
- Deliver positive end-user experience
- Utilize Initiative Management and Daily Management tools to deliver improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or College diploma
- 3-5 years’ experience in an HR, IT or Business Analyst role
- Experience working in a technology based role considered an asset
- Familiar with Business Analyst tools and methodologies
- Six Sigma training considered an asset
- Driven to improve JDI HR’s technology platforms and user experience
- Technically inclined, process oriented, highly curious.
- Creative thinker who thrives on working collaboratively
- Improvement mindset with the ability to search for and build solutions
- Tackles problems and highly motivated to grow their skillset
- Pays attention to the details
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
