About the role

Job Overview:

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of our revenue and merchant success teams through expert management and optimization of our Salesforce environment. This role requires a high degree of independence as you will lead enhancement requests, directly impacting the overall performance of the team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, lead process modeling, and provide strategic recommendations to drive business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently lead the facilitation, design, and documentation of business systems requirements and end-user acceptance criteria for new functionalities within Salesforce and other integrated systems.

  • Conduct user requirement gathering sessions, translating complex processes and requirements into actionable system enhancements.

  • Manage system testing and end-user acceptance testing, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various tools.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Shopify business processes, particularly for merchant-facing teams, providing insights and guidance on Salesforce functionalities and roadmap.

  • Drive process improvements and provide recommendations on technical solutions, considering enterprise-wide impacts.

  • Develop and maintain strong domain expertise in multiple projects within the program, identifying issues and driving resolutions effectively.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including director-level stakeholders, adapting communication style and content for maximum impact.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce implementations, including system configuration and project management.

  • Salesforce Admin and/or Business Analyst certification required; Sales Cloud certification preferred.

  • Proven track record as a business analyst in enterprise-scale CRM projects, with strong focus on sales operations and partner relationship management.

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to define and document business and system requirements in an agile environment independently.

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both business leadership and technical team members.

  • Creative problem-solving skills with a willingness to explore new ideas.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple, competing high-priority tasks effectively.

Work Environment:

  • This position is remote, available to candidates across the Americas.
