StarTech.com is looking for a Marketing Manager with deep expertise in Amazon and Ecommerce to help shape and deliver the advertising and brand strategy for the North American business.

This role is an exciting opportunity for anyone passionate about elevating ecommerce performance with innovative brand and advertising campaigns. Encompassing both strategic planning and hands-on activation, you will leverage all aspects of Amazon's ad ecosystem to drive brand awareness, sales and growth.

Responsible for overseeing a substantial budget, you will be an expert in developing and delivering complex digital marketing plans to support our go-to-market strategy against KPIs.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Developing Digital Marketing Plans for Amazon: Through close collaboration with the Global Marketing Manager, you will help spearhead innovative full funnel solutions to drive sales performance across our different categories, using AMS, DSP, Store, Google and other off-site tactics.
  • Delivering and Optimizing Campaigns Against KPIs: Executing meticulous campaign management and optimization towards objectives and KPIs such as ROAS, CVR and TACOS.
  • Reviewing & Actioning Campaign Management SOPs: Weekly, monthly, quarterly procedures at a macro and micro level to ensure optimal marketing efficiency
  • Data Driven Marketing Decisions: Analyzing and interpreting digital performance data to make informed decisions and recommendations at a category and ASIN level
  • Driving Cross-functional Collaboration: In partnership with key stakeholders such as Merchandising, Content Marketing, Communications and Finance you will ensure alignment of plans with overall business objectives
  • Researching and Providing Market Insights: Leveraging market, keyword, search and competitor data to prepare and action strategic product and category level campaigns
  • Creative Asset Management and Refinement: In close collaboration with the creative team you will develop, create, test and refine assets for paid marketing campaigns and Brand Store
  • Managing External Stakeholder Relationships: Nurturing relationships with regional Amazon Advertising reps and you will leverage support and initiatives on regional plans
  • Demonstrating Deep Expertise in Retail Media: Keeping abreast of the ever-evolving Amazon Advertising space, actively sharing ideas and updates, ensuring best practices are incorporated into campaign management

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Business
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in digital marketing and advertising
  • Proven experience in managing substantial marketing budgets and delivering against KPIs
  • Demonstrated experience of planning and executing strategic Amazon Advertising campaigns across Sponsored Ads, DSP and Google
  • Strong analytical skills with a substantial knowledge of Excel to manipulate data and create actionable insights.
  • Resilient and agile mindset that adapts seamlessly to the ever-evolving nature of the digital space
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies and business results to a diverse audience
  • Willingness to collaborate cross functionally
  • Experience using third party platforms for campaign management and insights - Skai, Perpetua, Helium10 or something

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI to visualize data
  • Paid search, social or programmatic display experience
  • Amazon Brand Store management and creative conceptualization
  • Amazon content creation - A+ Content, Brand Store or ads
