Meaningful Work: Engage in a variety of tasks that will contribute to the development of key competencies, such as professional values, problem-solving, self-management, communication, and teamwork. While preparing you to advance your leadership career within Accounting/Finance.
What You’ll Experience:
Property Accounting: Oversee all accounting functions for development projects, including budgeting, cost management, financial reporting, and internal control design. You’ll prepare monthly financial reports, ensure tax compliance, and provide updates at project status meetings. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to manage property accounting, produce monthly financial statements under IFRS, handle leasing, recoveries, and tenant billings, and oversee the reporting cycle for expenses, revenue accruals, and capital amortization. As well as participating in year-end adjustments, operating cost reconciliations, and supporting tax compliance efforts.
·Corporate Accounting: Assist with full cycle day-to-day revenue functions such as preparation of revenue invoices and record revenue accruals, maintaining the accounts receivable subledger, cash applications. Support the team in the preparation of the company’s quarterly and annual management reporting and financial reporting under IFRS. Assist in the annual internal/external audit process, including but not limited to creating working papers. Assist with variance analysis reviews of financial results.
·Financial & Investment Accounting: Assist with the full-cycle revenue functions, including invoicing, revenue accruals, and accounts receivable management. Support with quarterly and annual financial reporting under IFRS and assist with variance analysis and audit preparation. In investment accounting, you will ensure the accuracy of daily investment transactions, perform Net Asset Value checks, prepare cash reports, and reconcile shares and holdings for pooled funds. Additionally, assisting with management reporting, financial statement preparation, and FX roll-up entries for pooled funds.
·Leadership Development: Throughout the leadership development rotations, you will receive ongoing mentorship and guidance from a lead mentor, focusing on key aspects of leadership, performance management, and the annual review process. In addition to regular touchpoints, you will have access to specialized training sessions designed to enhance their leadership capabilities, including communication, decision-making, and team-building skills. There will also be opportunities to engage in performance management workshops to deepen understanding of best practices, ensuring you are well-prepared to lead effectively within the organization. Additionally, networking opportunities and exposure to senior leaders will be a part of the experience, broadening your professional perspective and growth potential.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000.
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
