Location: Fort McKay

Schedule: 40-hour work week. Monday to Thursday (Alternating Friday off Schedule)

Role Summary:


  • As we grow, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Recruitment Lead to drive our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring we attract, engage, and retain the best talent. The Recruitment Lead is responsible for overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process across multiple departments, managing a high volume of requisitions, and leading a team of recruiters and administrators to meet organizational hiring needs. This role requires a proactive, data-driven leader who can balance the execution of strategic plans with hands-on recruitment and ensure excellent candidate experiences. The Recruitment Lead will collaborate with department and site leaders, implement sourcing strategies, and optimize recruitment processes to maintain our reputation as an employer of choice.


Primary Responsibilities:


  1. Leadership
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and recruitment administrators to achieve hiring goals in a high-volume setting.
    • Collaborate with People & Culture leadership to design and execute recruitment strategies aligned with company values and growth targets.
    • Analyze hiring trends and metrics to forecast needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  2. End-to-End Recruitment Process
    • Oversee the recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding, ensuring timely, high-quality candidate experiences.
    • Develop and refine sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber talent across diverse roles and locations.
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create accurate, compelling job descriptions.
  3. Process Improvement and Metrics
    • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment workflows, focusing on efficiency, candidate experience, and quality of hire.
    • Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and diversity.
    • Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions.
  4. Employer Branding and Candidate Experience
    • Promote Bouchier's values (We Care, We Inspire, We Deliver) through all aspects of recruitment to create a positive employer brand.
    • Champion a top-tier candidate experience by ensuring clear communication, a smooth application process, and a respectful interview experience.
  5. Compliance and Best Practices
    • Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Stay current on recruitment trends, tools, and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.


    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a high-volume organization.
    • Proven success in developing and executing recruitment strategies for various roles and departments.
    • Strong understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
