As a Regulatory and Assurance student, you will gain exposure to and assist in a wide variety of tasks related to regulatory compliance for pipeline and terminal operations at Husky Midstream. Your main responsibility will be to monitor new regulation changes that impact the business in a variety to scopes across the business. You will work with various SME's in operations, engineering, safety, finance, commercial, emergency management, environment, and integrity to track the impact, create tasks, and initiate a management of change process for the business.

What you'll do

• Monitoring various Governing Regulatory bodies in Alberta, Saskatchewan and CER for new regulatory changes.

• Interpreting Regulations to determine if new regulations impact Husky Midstream.

• Monthly Reporting summarizing all the new regulations and responsible to identify impacted groups and record impact.

• Assisting in the administration of regulatory compliance managing systems.

• Support regulatory audits, compliance verifications, information requests, incident response for non-compliance events.

• Compile and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends using Power BI or Excel and summarize team activities in monthly reports.

• Support regulatory compliance submissions, ensuring proper documentation and maintaining compliance registers.

• Maintain and update the Regulatory and Assurance SharePoint site.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).

• Available to begin work in May 2025.

• Experience in auditing or oil and gas is considered an asset.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook).

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and research skills.

• Ability to analyze various sources of data and summarize impact.

Education

• Must be enrolled in a Law, Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary.

• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.

• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
