The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP FICO Functional Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial and controlling functions within the SAP system, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations. This role involves collaborating with various departments, analyzing financial data, and implementing solutions to optimize financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document financial and controlling business processes and requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement and maintain SAP FICO modules.
• Provide functional support for financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting and critical systems integration (including Vertex, PowerPlan and others).
• Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards.
• Conduct system testing and support user training for financial applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in financial projects and initiatives to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years relevant experience
• Proven experience as a functional analyst in financial or controlling systems.
• Strong understanding of financial operations and controlling processes.
• Proficiency in SAP FICO or similar financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong proficiency and awareness of sophisticated integration finance and treasury processes that involved integrated systems across our broader SAP landscape.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Support and troubleshooting experience with systems like Bloomberg, Vertex and banking system.
