This is a hybrid remote work position in Calgary Alberta or Toronto, Ontario only and requires in-person, in-office collaboration a minimum of 3 days per week. This provides flexibility the remaining 40% of the work week. This hybrid work plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration and networking with our colleagues. Specific days in the office are agreed upon by the team.
Overview of role:
As WestJet becomes more complex and dynamic, we are seeking a Digital Marketing/Channel Strategist reporting into our Paid Media Marketing and Commercial team. The incumbent must be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to work in an agile environment. Playing a key role within our Paid Media Marketing team, you'll bring your performance orientated approach, competitive drive, and analytical thinking to support our revenue targets. Our Paid Media Marketing team is responsible for delivering on the strategic marketing plan for all paid media activities. The team is responsible for helping establish and forecast revenue targets, as well as provide ongoing reporting for all paid media.

The Digital Marketing/Channel Strategist will be responsible for providing support with the day-to-day execution of our marketing programs. This will primarily focus on the coordination with key stakeholders to deliver necessary assets for all channels and working closely with both internal and external partners to launch campaigns and troubleshoot when necessary.
