Job summary

Location Address: Downtown Toronto Work arrangement: Hybrid ( 3 days in office, maybe 4 days and 1 day remote) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for office days but might change. Contract Duration: 12 months; start date - ASAP Possibility of extension beyond & possibility of conversion to FTE: Depending on project demand and budget. Number of Positions: 1 Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week. Overtime: No overtime as of right now, unless project demand. Reason: Resource will support Fractional Shares working group sessions, including requirements walkthroughs, solution design discussions, and issue resolution. Typical Day in Role: Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements. Facilitate requirements walkthrough sessions with business and technology stakeholders. Collaborate with technology teams on solution design and API integration requirements. Demonstrates an informed knowledge of equities and bonds business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Support development of delivery roadmaps, timelines, and milestones. Identify, track, and help resolve risks, issues, and dependencies. Produce and maintain key documentation (user stories, process flows, requirement documents). Act as liaison between business, technology, and delivery teams. Support and coordinate testing activities. Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: The ideal candidate has 10+ years of Business Analysis experience within financial services, with exposure to equities and bonds trading, brokerage, or digital platforms preferred. Experience working with system integrations and APIs, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments is essential, along with strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills. Worked on any complex projects they have done (preferably capital markets, bonds, equity and trading) Nice-To-Have Skills: Exposure to fractional share initiative Hands on experience with supporting and coordinating with testing activities like UAT and QA. Best VS. Average Candidate: The best candidate is someone with the following: someone who comes with communication skills to able to demonstrate stakeholder management. A track record in any complex projects they have done (preferably capital markets, bonds, equity and trading) will potentially make them a top candidate. 1st – Hiring manager – Online teams – 45 mins - scenario-based questions, general experience checks and cultural fit. 2nd- Director and hiring manager – In person (150 King Street W 5th Floor) - 45 mins - probing questions on business requirements, general experience and cultural fit
